I just emailed this lady asking if she was serious. I'm always amazed how absurd people can be.

In the words of P.T. Barnum: "there's a sucker born every minute".
Unfortunately someone will buy it, maybe not for that price, and it will be dead in a few months. They'll probably not even know what a reef tank is.
For many people price *is* everthing.
When I had my own business ( no not fish related ) I knew guys that totaled their beemers every couple of weeks and just go out and buy another one.
You can imagine what they would do with live animals.

David Mohr

Scam is an understatement...and sucker isnt the word...Id have to say down right Retarded for a lack of a better word...but you really have to have few if not zero brain wave activity...im sorry but that really has to make you question, if not do research before blindly buying

the seller shouldn't be allowed to list such a fraudulent item to begin with, irrespective of 'caveat emptor'

Len, your bubble tip anemone looks rare to me. Not because of the color, but because of a certain--ahem--shape to the tentacles. They look like baby's arms, if ya know what I mean.

a reply from the seller in my email after contacting both the seller and ebay: (this is the seller's reply to the q's i posed them)

This is not a rose anemone. Rose anemone’s are pink/red, not orange. Also, I am positive it has not been dyed or tampered with. Go ahead and report me, I am confident this is not a rose anemone. Or else, feel free to call me: (deleted name and phone#). I am not a novice in the field and would not make such a mistake.

can ya believe it ?
what a moron

Has anyone asked her what the scientific name for this "rare" anemone is?
