Linkias are very temperate...a slow drip procedure over a couple hours would be recommended...

Yeah, thats my first one. I did maybe a twenty minute acclimation period.

I think thats its all about water quality.

I have no nitrates ect ect.

I poured out half the bag water and used a big cup to pour water from my tank in every couple of minutes.

Also I had my water blessed by a priest.......

Ok that didnt happen but I have thought about it.

Heres a couple more pics:

I had a blue linkia last only 2 weeks..It could have been that I acclimated the same way SPSmike did...Upon further reading and question asking, the acclimation period should have been about 10X longer...Like i said, very tempermental creatures...Ill give one a try one day in a larger tank

That's really cool. If something does happen (though I don't wish it on you), let us know, ok? (I'm on notify for this thread). My wife and I were really sad to lose both animals...I think it would make a really cool addition to the tank, but we're just not ready to do it again.

Tanks can be funny like that.. For example I cannot keep a common fish alive. I have tried addind several clowns to give my clown a mate and they die. However I can go out there and get something rare and it lives.

I kept an alveopora for over a year until it got too big.

I kept a brackish green spotted puffer in my ten with three other fish for over a year. He will still be there if I hadnt of gone on vacation (which freaked him out) and he jumped.
