My Ten Gallon

As promised I have taken pictures of my precious ten gallon.This tank has been through hell and back over the last 2 1/2 years. I have battle hair algae nitrates ect ect and lost a tank full of corals twice with the exception of a couple that made it the full duration.I have been sps bound for about 8 months now and in total this ten gallon holds over 27 different types of corals.I have 8 differnt types of snails and a cucumber.I have natural phytoplankton growing along with a very diverse fauna population.

Ok, These were taken yesterday as I was trying to get some top down shots.I thought these pics looked cool as the light was in the background instead of right in front of my fac/camera.

Great looking ten!!!! What kind of lighting are you using and wattage. I'm working on a 15 gal. and am planning on using 4x65 pc. Thanks, James

I am using a sleek coralife 20 inch modded into a 70 watt metal halide with 36 watt true actinic.

Nitrates 0

ca 550+ (all times)
alk 9 dkh (all times)
ph 8.1-8.3
I have 29 different corals.
I have 200 gph aquaclear with two micro-jets 117 gph.
An auto top off system utilizing a float with kalk water.
I never dose.
I do one gallon water change a week with reef crystals.
Dont have a top as want good gas exchange.

Its a slow grower thats for sure Lord.

I do tha all the time..... I love that light set up! It is sooooo sleek and clean looking.Its hard to have a nice metal halide set up on a nano without doing a hood.
