I have a lower end one

I use it for all kinds of stuff. I cut the mirrored door off of my metal bathroom medicine cabinet so I could temporarily hang it on the wall while we were remodling....

I love that thing......

Here's my finished sump. The baffles need to set for 24 hours and then the water test.

Still no pics on the overflow, Bry. I think I'm gonna just keep the PVC drain and hide it with some rocks. Easier said than done I'm sure but it is nice having the extra space.

I did get my 45 pounds of LR from www.liveaquaria.com. We had a little FedEx SNAFU so the rock has a bit more die-off than I wanted but it still looked good with some nice varied pieces. The aquascaping looks almost like what I want. I'll need to go buy a few choice pieces to finish off the look I'm going for. Monday I'll hang the lights and wait for the cycle to begin and end. Hopefully it won't be too long.

Oh yeah, that white PVC must be hidden. I'll need some good rock mojo for that to happen. :)

By the way, my lights show up today so I know what I'll be doing when I get home from work. More pics to come . . .

Take an old hole saw the size of that pvc or a bit bigger

Drill a hold right through a piece of a rock

Tune it up a bit by beating it with an old hammer and a old chisel or screwdriver and use some of that thick underwater goop type stuff to hold it to the overflow....

Lookin good by the way

Here is my final rockwork. Kind of a cove feeling. Can't wait to start stocking it. :)

You like, Bry? :D

I still have the urge to play with the rocks but I won't. Until I get some corals etc it'll stay this way. I have just about 10 watts per gallon right now and the tank is low so I should be able to get just about anything.

Looks great, Ace!! Are you satisfied with the LR still?

The LR is basically base rock. Very little coraline algae and no life yet. It took a beating on the delivery.

SpaceAce,
Is the sump on line?
and if it is what are you using as an over flow?
