I need to upgrade my chiller, I'm running a 1/10th via aqua currently
I'm looking at the larger 1/4 or 1/3 sizes, but the ratings seem wrong
CC-50, 120v AC, 380 watts for the 1/3 chiller 160 gallons and 10 degrees pulldown
the cc-25 model is supposed to be 1/4, but btu heat removal raiting of 1500 BTU/HR, 240 watts power draw
does not sound right, sounds more like a 1/5 hp model doesnt it?
is 1500 btu/hr about right for a 1/4 hp chiller?
I think they are rating them one size higher than they really are
the btu rating on the chillers from different companies are ALL over the place, not sure how they come up with the rating, but some 1/4 have 3500 btu, and some have 2000 btu
