That large colony on the left isn't a cap. It's a very old Turbinaria. One of the first corals I ever bought and slow growing.

I did keep on frag of the orange monti. I going to trade it in as soon as in developes a nice whorl.

I wondered how long this skimmer would take to break in. You never can tell how long a particular skimmer may take.

I nearly shed a tear when it started skimming a little while ago. :lol:

Here's a picture of the foam head and the very first few drops of brown liquid in the collection cup :D

Asnatlas, you should start a thread about your tank and update it periodically with some pics. I'm sure a lot of folks would like to watch the progress.
