12".

I finished building the stand.

Now I need to go get a few fittings from HD so that I am ready to hook it up in the AM.

She's up and running, though the drain pipe are just stuck together and not glued.

My day got interupted by a crappy round of golf, so I didn't get to the BK until late.

I'm going to shut it down for the night and glue the pieces in the AM. I didn't want to glue them until I made sure it was operating properly, which I believe it is.

Here's a few pics.

Them pipes aren't glued in yet.

Hey, I was tired when I put them together. Now you see why I am waiting until tomorrow to glue it together.

how are you feeding the pump?

I only had one available bulkhead on that side of my sump, so I combined the two skimmer drains.

It doesn't appear to affect the drains. The skimmer is fed by a Mag 7, so 700 GPH through a 1.5" conduit is no issue at all.

It is a slight pain to have to raise both of the telescoping drain lines at the same time, but no big deal. And besides, once it's dailed in, I won't have to adjust them anymore.

Okay, I glued the drain lines in and have it running.

Hopefully, the pipes are straight enough to satisfy Bryan. They're not perfect, but there as close as I could get it.

Couple of pictures looking inside the collection cup.

Now I patiently wait for this beast to break in and start skimming.

how quiet is it?

They are supposedly dead silent. I can't hear it at all, but my fish room is quite noisy, so I opinion doesn't count.
