To vauge. Needs another choice.
"C. It could work short term" ect ect.
That would be my vote. If it were offered.

SNake:
" the people want our total formulas but they shall not have them. I agree. "

I am not asking for your forumula.
I dont think anyone else is ?
All I am asking for is you to post the written documentation you say you have that shows scientificly founded results that have been performed by an outside testing firm with thier name so we know what level of validity thier claims are worth.
All you have to do is blot out the key ingredient/s. The information we are looking for isnt your main ingredient, or any of your ingredients for that matter.
My response about your Paten number, and info wasnt ment as an atempt to show ingredient combinations. It was just to show that the only documented sources of testing I could find that you had was your paten. It stated you tested (some one tested) it on sewage waste plants.

Here is video of the 5 gallon tank.

http://us.f13.yahoofs.com/bc/43e8d356m1 ... EBprrdyZV1

As you can see all fish are alive and well. In this video you will see the baby lionfish actually pushing the frozen mysid shrimp on the sand bed then eat it.
All of the lion I've kept have shown this type of behavior after they started eating forzen mysid shrimp. I have the video to prove it, so nobody can say I made it up.

Also, as a treat I included my clown at home spawning.

I got it.. go to the second link, and right mouse-click, save target as. It takes about 20 minutes to download to watch a lion fish go after the other fish. That thing doesn't belong in the nano.

Dear Frag

I have already posted two lab reports. Both were conducted in outside labs.

OceanEnviro LLC conducted the nitrate reduction test with starting values of 6,000 + mg/L of Nitrate and reduced them to 1.1 mg/L in seven days. It shows the daily reductions.

Cal Brett Inc conducted the test using ammonia, nitrite and nitrate in the same solution. The water was autoclaved and so was the TBPC to ensure no outside infiltration. The daily values were also stated on the test.

Considering the different tests my compound has been through over the years, including tests to ensure the safety of aquatic life demanded by certain states, unlike other compounds this one has been through the wringer.

The question is and still remains, can one replicate a 24 hour cycle with aerobic reduction in an aquarium following my protocol? The answer is yes.

Even though, and I agree that the common organisms do float around like all bacteria in the air and can seed any aquatic body of water, they still cannot perform the entire cycle in 24 hours, nor reduce nitrates, phosphates etc concurrently.

Respectfully submitted,

Snakea

I am currently of the belief that Snake's product can do nitrate/nitriate/ammonia reduction as advertised (it's the one thing he has provided support for and that someone I trust - Charles - has validated). I think the unresolved question is how the product effects the complex ecosystem of a reef tank, both long and short term.

So, what we need is someone who doesn't mind experimenting to dump some in their reef tank.

I would go ahead and volunteer since mine isin't much of a tank but I don't have any detectable ammonia, nitrates, or nitrites.

Anyone else want to be a guinea pig?

I am not saying it will not work period. I think in the short game it will, but like I said in another thread "I dont think this will ever work in a reef tank" .

Where? Not in this thread that I could find? Unless you are counting this:

The test by OE was started at those values for their customers.
1/3: 6,237.0 mg/L That is Six THOUSAND two hundred thirty seven mg/L is the true reading as the test clearly shows. That is how much Nitrate they put into solution for the test. The next test will have higher values than this test.

They have a very bad problem with Nitrates in drinking water. Thus, this is what they ar interested in. As you noticed the elevated levels of NO3 and the rapid decline in the same subject matter. They desired to see if in fact the system works. This an another system their are selling and when they have completed testing, their clients are flying from Asia to see a demostration.

This is not ment as an argumentive reply. I am simply trying to find the information you say you have already given us?
If I have missed it amongst the vast amounts of replys please point me to it.
Until I can see the long term results in both systems ( fish and reef) I will be eternaly sceptical. Emailing strangers, and talking to the manufacturer person to person is like asking a used car salseman if he is honest. I know you are going to take offense to that but please try not to it is only a rhetorical trope.

Dear Frag,

I can totally understand your concern concerning the longevity of my product. There are many products on the market which use boosters and then fail after 2 -3 weeks. I have never tested them before, but I have heard many shop owners saying exactly what you have stated. So I agree with your inquiry 100 percent.

Thus, you must find an outside source other than myself who has used my product for more than a month or a year. They must be in the fish business and must be knowledgeable in keeping fish.

Here are two you may call and ask. One will be a wholesaler and the other will be a retailer. Each have over six years using my products. They can give you a fair analyst on a fish shop and fish wholesaler if my product does work on long term or if it does not. Remember, they are not in the scientific realm which makes it even better, because they simply use the products.

Wholesaler

HIGH BRIGHT USA West Coast
Brain Chou (Owner)

Retailer

AQUATIC LIFE, INC East Coast
Bob (Manager)

I believe you are on the east coast, the second number may assist you better. They also do tank service, and use it in their tanks at the shop,

I hope this assist you.

Respectfully submitted,

Snake

If you want us to look at the product, please post a link to the product here. It should be simple to do so.

As a president of a local reef club, I find it distasteful to register on a the website of a club that is not in my geographical region without a specific invitation.
