You know, I didn't ask. I'll mount them myself if they aren't (prefer it that way anyhow). I have a big tube of Zap superglue gel :)

Once I get the next split I'll be sure to add a piece of PVC in the background! Thanks for the validity check 8)
Well the PVC is useful in two ways. First if your camera doesn't white balance you can use photoshop to do after picture balancing, and if this is for a website/showing off you can always crop the PVC out of the picture and still have a pretty picture. Second if you're selling a coral based primarily off its color (as in this case) you can use the PVC has a check for potential buyers (even point it out!) to show that it has not been unfairly photoshopped to make the colors look brighter than they are.

Len, do a search for something called IC Gel, our club bought a couple cases of it and sell it at meetings for $5 a tube. It comes in a 20 gram size and best of all you don't have to use it all because you can cap it (after wiping the tip off) and still use it later unlike super glue which seems to solidify regardless of the capping job you use), the stuff works like a gem too!

I paid a ton for my "toxic green" acanthastrea lordhowensis. I'm pretty sure it's one of those 'non-Indo' colonies, and unfortunately I bought it at the height of the craze. It's probably my favorite piece, though...about 25 polyps now, and each is the size of a half-dollar.

i paid 130 for a lord colony the size of a dinner plate, i think i will make my money back on frags. if it's a pretty coral i don't mind dropping some dough on it, the tank is the centerpiece in my home.

FYI: Atlantis got back to me. They'll check the availability of the items I inquired about. If they have a good portion of it, my tank my actually be fully stocked with corals by the end of the month 8O

Yeah, Len. You could probably get some good stuff at the Coral Farmers Market next month in Ontario.

You cannot get much in my neck of the woods, besides shrooms or star polyps, for less than $50.

$100.

So far I've sold 3 splits for $40 each so I'm even plus I have a nice R. yuma. That's typically how I get ahold of nicer corals. If there's not much chance of propogation then it's not for me.

Looks like I need to drive up to Warsaw.

I would say what I spent on one coral but I am too embarassed to admit it. On the brighter side, I did make over $1k+ profit on it:)

 Sang, you must have made a killing on those babies. Now they're a dime a dozen...well not literally, but you know what I mean.

Did they get back to you in a timely manner? After their response a few days ago, I've heard no updates again. Oh well. Tank is filling up fast with coral orders anyhow, so their loss :P

Yes, they did. It's not super fast though- more like I email one day and get a return the next.

The web site is pretty glossy but they seem like a small operation...
