Well guys the xenia seems to be melting or slowly disapearing. It is now shrinking. Should I move to lower light, or less curent. It came from PC lighting at 3.9 watts per gallon. It was doing well. Now it is under VHO at just over 6 watts per gallon.

I was spotting locations, and may have found one that will be more comparable to the old tank. It is further towards the bottom offering a much calmer current. I am desperate, so i decided it could not hurt to try.

SOrry Doni, but if it's on its way out there isn't much you can do. Try shifting it, that can't hurt it.

Hi. Did I miss something on the thread? I don't see an alk reading. My xenia usualy prefer a dKH reading above 9 to really be happy. Below 8 they attempt to leave......as in fade away. They will perk up with some Iodine, but I haven't added any for about 2 years. Alk, light and some current seem to be the major requirements.
Good luck
