FWIW< the richest of the NY crowd tend to move to there....Not many non mansions around. Lots of old money in that area, that is for sure. Great store with some great products....and some of prices are in line with what I have seen across the US in my travels.

Hey, this joint is a few blocks from my place. It's in a pretty questionable neighborhood but you walk inside and it's like this. They didn't spiff it up for the pictures either, it really looks like this every time I go in.

Thats Ocean Treasures Aquarium on Duboce. Nice store, prolly the best in the bay area right now in terms of stock and drygoods.

Yeah, I found this place on Duboce about a month ago after living in the hood for two years(!), and go there to drool once a week. Within walking distance of my house, which is... dangerous. The set-ups are awesome though- all the molding and woodwork is glass-smooth, and painted in some kind of epoxy paint. Their three main coral tanks each have their own surge system- corals look great. Frags are reasonable, colonies are expensive (large acro about 8" for $400)

Greenwich just gets a :roll: from me. That site has some incredible photography though of the livestock... wow.
