Chief, yes, but with everything going on right now and the hemorrhaging it was added to the next few weeks to do list. Some of the ideas and programs we wanted to institute were too much to get done all at once if we wanted to open on time and we had to come up with a refined list. I could use the info if someone could PM me with it though.

getting close to opning day. I read another post on LIRA forums that they will have a parking lot party with all the goodies, "truck loads" of stuff at low prices, Im hoping for rare or unusuall species. :bigeyes:

yeah iw as there, i didnt buy anything they gave me tour,isnt too big didnt have alot and they guy was trying to charge me way to much for lights..idk and im going to the aquarium on sat when they hav the grad, so im gonna miss the big sale and give aways. OH WELL better luck next time

what light and who was it? I'll make sure they are punished accordingly. All of us in the store are hobbyists so if you come in and identify yourself as a fellow nut we'll work with you on pricing as much as we can.

I went it was alright small store nice fish and corals I bought a black cap basslett been looking for one you should go tomorrow there was a tent and food and raffles

i really dont remeber the name, i got lights for 100 orbits barely used.. so it worked out for me....but i will keep you in myine my hub might be looking for someone to install a aquarium in a medical office building in garden city..not too sure yet..

i went today and i must say you guys have a verynice store. i love your frag tank with all the ora corals but if i can make 1 suggestion please put the prices next to everything. your missing prices on a couple of things. also you had a bad ick problem on the regal tang which made me iffy about the rest of the fish. ill be back thrus to pick up some ora corals and maby a fish if it looks ok.(that bluethoat was lookin great lol)

The prices were not left off on purpose. I was there past midnight every night this week trying to get everything into the computer but the livestock came in last and was a huge pain to price up over 20 boxes lol. Plus it I was too busy running around to write them on the tanks, but I promise this will be the last time they aren't posted visibly on the tanks. Also, the ich was due to the fact that we dosed with Fritzyme (the same bacteria public and commercial aquariums use to cycle) and you can't use UVs or skimmers for the first 5 days of use. 3 days in the ich reared it's ugly head and I threw the UVs on to help stop it from spreading. Each system now has a 40w emperor aquatics UV so there won't be anymore outbreaks like that again (crosses fingers). Thanks for all the support from everyone, the response has been great in the store and out. I also got the fish from a supplier I don't normally use for fish since they are more of a coral supplier but he gave us such a good deal we had to use him :irked:.

all in all I was happy to see this kind of a store, they do raise the bar in Long Island, but there is always room for imprvovements. :wink1:

Isaw those tort frags.I was sooo tempted but i couldn't pry my wallet open to pay $45 for a frag.Just seemed kinda high

I'm kinda sad the fish that I got from you was hiding the whole day sat and on sun when I checked in the morn he was lying next to a rock seemed like he was sleeping was breathing and all then when the lights came on later in the dayon sun he was dead covered in snails and hermits everything else is fine in my tank that really stinks I was so excited to get a new little fishy
