Hey, guys. This is very serious situation for us. Marine depot is now becoming a major problem for fish-lovers.
We ordered a bunch of fish on tuesday, and was told the order was already sent out. So I took off from work to receive the fish alive. But, next morning, we found out that they emailed us at 2 AM that the order was NOT shipped out. So, the order was rescheduled to be sent on Friday. (with discount)
On saturday morning, we found out that no confirmation email was sent to us. Plus, FedEx called us up, saying that they got the wrong Zip code. In this case, the package may not be delivered on the same day, meaning it would be delivered on MONDAY! (which was totally unacceptable)
We had to pursuade FedEx to deliver it today because the package contained livestock. It turned out that Marine Depot did NOT put "LIVESTOCK" on the package.
Now, Naso Tang came in dead. Fish that was supposed to be medium size was actually small. We got 2 mexican wrasses, while we ordered only one. Plus, a half of the order is missing. One of my tang is dying.
Because of that, we had to transfer our fish between the tanks and restructure the rocks. (You know how hard it is!)
This is not all. They charged me on Tuesday for the order that was never sent out. (Probably, they are going to charge me another $330 for today's shipping.)
So, basically, Marine Depot sucks now, and you, guys, should be very very careful with what you order. Plus, make sure to get a confirmation email and tracking number for your order.
