Has anyone ordered from glasscages.com? How is their quality?

There are a lot of bad stories about glass cages, and then there are some good outcomes. But it's really at your own risk, YMMV.

Jhale will most likley be cheaper the g/c and it'll be a nicer piece of furniture. Or you can try Buller and see if he's willing to make something. I've seen a couple posts of his handy work.

As a moderator on another forum I have witnessed dozens of threads where people have had a bad experience with GC. Although every now and then there is someone with a possitive experience, it is offset by all the other horror stories posted.

thank you for the props guys. I have a GC tank, I knew what I was getting and it works for my application. I had a positive experience, but that was about 3 years ago. they might have changed since then. I have no idea how well the stands are made.

:scratch: I believe the stand I bought from Pecan2Phat was made by Glasscages. It hasn't crumbled under pressure yet

I was just introduced to that site since my coworker found out about custom aquariiums. Some prices look like there the same as other LFS. I guess the best way to find out the quality is to order one. Seems like people have positives and negatives about this GC. I'll pass for now since another tank is not needed.
