I hate Seachem, Salifert I've had good luck with.

But recently i switched over to Elos Test Kits and I like them alot. Even better than Salifert.

i've used salifert with good results, lamotte is suppose to be more accurate but i can't distinguish the color change and i have an elos on order with marine depot.......from what reviews i've seen it is suppose to be good. price wise they are pretty much the same. the only thing i hated about salifert was the amount of reagent you had to use if your tank is in the normal calciun range of 400+

With the Salifert I believe you can do 1/2 tests then double the results, thereby sparing the regeants.

I like the Seachem because it lasted over a year with regular testing & the plastic case doesn't get soggy if it gets wet :)

I cant speak to the Salifert calcium test, but with their Mg test you can do 1/2 tests like he said. Go to salifert.com and you can find each test kit's instruction sheet.
