Leave the 12 gallon alone also? Thats the tank that has some corals left in it from my 29. You think the 12 will correct itself also? I dont want anything to die, and being I am leaving in 5 days for 8 days I thought I should be doing as many water changes as I can up to the day Im leaving on the 12 gallon?

Thanks

Hmm, how about the nitrates is that reading.

Also 0. Everything in that tank is perfect except for the ammonia. That tank has always done incredibly well. We bought it from another hobbyist, who had it up and running for years; the biological system in that thing is great! Never had a problem with it until now...and that is just because we overloaded it with everything from the Bio Cube. It'll even itself out eventually I'm sure.

Question I think is this. What point are we at really. With ammonia hoving at .5 1 and the other two sitting at zero are we still before the complete cycle or are we after it but something is still decaying in the tank. Did the nitrite/trate waver during this time or did it sit at 0.

Honestly, leave it. Do one more before you guys head out. Keep an eye on it of course and check your levels daily. Is anyone watching the tank for you while your gone. Best case scenario is that your ammonia hits zero and you see an increase in nitrite, thats a good sign becaues the cycle is in full swing. Hopefully we will see that in the next few days before the trip.
