I was wondering what brand of salt everyone is using? I think a lot of people are using Tropic Marine but I think that Instant Ocean might be a better choice. I found a link comparing primary elements in some top brand salts and Instant Ocean seems to be the closest to natural sea water. Tropic Marine seems to be higher in phophates than what is claimed.

Any thoughts?

Happy Thanksgiving!

yes your right, the study is missing quite a few salts, but it's a good start.

I'll go out on a limb and say since the seachem reefsalt is a new formula that just came out, it's going to kick butt. I know I'm going to try it.

I agree, I often feel that the newest products are usually the best as they can build upon the advantages of ealier products.

I am using the Reef Salt now (got some free bags of it from Rusty at MACNA).
I like the idea of the added borate buffer. I know there are those that complain that it is higher than NSW but seachem raised it on purpose to provide added buffer that is more stable than carbonates.
