A must read!!! Someone on here.. Made a very bad mistake.

Hello All, I think this is a very **IMPORTANT** message, that EVERYONE on here should be aware of...

I BELIEVE THERE IS A CHANCE, THAT THERE MIGHT BE A THIEF AMONG US??

Some of you know me. Some of you don't. Some of you have been here. Some of you haven’t. If you have been here.. and you have spoke with me.. Then you are well aware that I like to keep a pile of all my passed away coral skeleton colonies of SPS from my old tank right by my door when you walk in. MANY of you have seen them. They are a lot of colonies from my old system that crashed and some new colonies that have gone along the way over time. MOST know I like to keep them there so that I can point them out to someone who has the idea in their head that they are going to make millions of dollars selling frags.. It helps me illustrate and show people that it isn't all "Glitz and Glamour" when it comes to this frag game.. there is loss too.

UNFORTUNATELY.. ALL MY COLONIES HAVE GONE MISSING???

Now.. these colonies hold very sentimental value to me. And maybe, I am over reacting.. maybe someone thought they were garbage and did me the favor of cleaning up my back yard a bit? You could have also raked the leaves and swept up while you were at it.. but hey, thank you for cleaning up where you saw fit! The fact is.. I would like them back! And I would like you to know..

YOU MADE A VERY.. BAD.. MISTAKE.

Sometime over the weekend.. Till.. Yesterday, a nice collection of them went missing. Someone walked onto my property, down my driveway, and helped themselves to these colonies WITHOUT my permission.. for whatever reason.. maybe they thought they were garbage?? Or maybe they wanted to put them in their freshwater tank.. who knows?? Maybe they think they can sell them as "decorative pieces" or "coral skeletons" for the home or the fish tanks in queens off of a website posted on craigs.. Well.. wait a minute.. I will not make any assumptions just yet. Maybe this is all just a big misunderstanding?? Maybe someone borrowed them?? Maybe someone wanted to clean them up for me and return them?? OR.. maybe someone had the EXACT intentions of doing what I think they are planning on doing with them.. there is just one small thing this person didn't think of..

HOW SMALL THIS LITTLE WORLD OF OURS IS.

Now you ask WHY marc WHY? WHY do you think this person is on here??? We are a GREAT AND HONEST COMMUNITY.. and I say YES! YES we are!.. but.. I sat down and thought about it.. and well.. because this took place while I wasn’t here... and I only told a handful of people that I was going to be out of town the last few days.. and everyone I did mention it too.. IS.. on here. So.. I believe this person.. might be lurking amongst us and I just wanted everyone to be on Alert.. I do hope I am wrong.. but just in case I am not.. then this person could quite possibly be visiting your homes too!!!

At this moment.. I am going to assume that this person helped themselves and just simply didn't let me know??? But I am letting them know.. I WANT THEM BACK! And if I do not see them appear soon.. I am going to put faith in my famous phrase..

"It is ONLY a matter of time before I find out.."

so.. I am giving you a FAIR and FINAL WARNING.. If they show up, no harm no foul. You have a grace period and a chance to return them and NEVER.. NEVER.. show up at my door again. BUT if they do not show up.. Then i would like to take a minute to share this FINAL message to my friend who decided to steal from me.

I WILL FIND YOU. I WILL FIND OUT.. I ALWAYS DO. And WHEN that day comes when I find out who you are.. I WILL come see you.. I can only promise 1 thing.. It’s not going to be because I want to give you some frags for your tank.

For EVERYONE else on here... well.. I am hurt. I am feeling a little vulnerable and taken advantage of.. and I must say I am VERY VERY wary about letting people into my home anymore.. I do not think that I will be having anyone that I don’t know or trust.. stop by anymore. Well.. at least.. not until I feel safe and this situation is resolved. So things are going to be a little different for a while, or at least until I find out who this person is.

FOR NOW.. to my friends and fellow reefers.. I only ask this much.. If you see someone with coral skeletons in their tank.. or a large pile of dead sps skeletons.. or someone possibly selling Coral skeletons.. for decorative purposes.. On EBAY, on Craigs List, Etc Etc... take a minute.. and.. Give me a shout.. I would be VERY interested in looking into it a little bit further. And if anyone knows this person/site selling "coral skeletons" on craigs list over in queens.. take a minute.. and.. Give me a shout… I would like to know who this person is as well. I know at times that I might not see eye to eye with everyone on here.. but this is one time.. that we need to band together and flush someone out.. because… in my eyes.

THEFT doesn't hurt one of us.. it hurts us ALL.

I hope you find them, that is sick that ppl do this. I have a small nana and green digita you can have, they are special to me because they are my first sps I had in the new tnak and they died, but they mean alot to me. It is amazing what ppl have become that they would do this oo let me decorate my room with jacked dead sps coral. All I can say is wow and I have a bat if you need it

Stealing somebodies dead colonies with personal value-------sheisty

Getting extremely upset if your the one they were stolen from----- understandable

Paying a visit to and getting arrested over fighting somebody because they stole someones(especially other than your own) dead sps colonies-----rediculous.

Being an adult and handling like an adult with morals UNLIKE the a-hole that stole someones colonies------ MATURITY.

Sorry to read about this Marc! Perhaps, and it would be nice if it was a neighborhood kid that took them. Much better then someone you trusted enough to allow into your home.

BTW, I have a bunch of coral skeletons from when I started out in this hobby. So if you come to my house, and see them "NO THEY ARE NOT Marc's" I have never even been to Marc's place. With that said please be careful to who you point fingers at behind this one.
