Maybe the dude shoved rare earth magnets into each goldfish and has some kind of contraption underneath them that makes them look like they're in sync, but they're just being lead where the magnets follow.

Wouldn't that cause them to be out of sync? They all remain in their respective positions.

You know the magnetic car on the board with the metal contraption that moved the car.

Don't know why but my Amazing Randy skepticism is peaking looking at the video again, the goldfish move way too mechanically. Makes me believe that the man made them swallow metal BBs and has magnets at work underneath the white table top.
