I us the NP pellets and its been 3 weeks and I'm starting to see a improvement in my spa my Ph is the same 8.25 the out put has to mere the Skimmer . Overall I'm very impressed.

What is the difference between media reactor and bio pellet reactor? Can you use either one for the vertex?

i uses a two little fishes and use mesh mod madia on the bottom no foam in the reactor hooked up to a maxi jet 1200

Yeah same here i just emptyed my cup sunday and tuesday it was full again and man does it stink.

so far yes no pumping 2 times a day and no additives anymore so its a big plus right now.

Some peoples flow is such that the pellets flow out of the reactor, hence they need to place a mesh to stop that action.

I soak my pellets for 24 hrs in saltwater, then place them in the reactor.

Not exactly. The "mesh mod" means you replace the foam in the media with a plastic mesh. Since the Biopellets can run in the reactor for months without any maintenance, the foam fills up with gunk and restricts flow.

The plastic mesh allows flow without clogging.
