the two that i like are the swc and the super reef octopus .. they are both in the same price range . i like the 3 year warranty on the octopus pump.

the swc 160 would be my choice personally but also heard alot of good stuff on the octo's. johnny u like this as much as the bk ? price considered also

Rick I had the BK mini 180 for nearly 2 yrs, and it was on my 125 I consider to have a heavy bioload, and it seem not to handle the bioload. Second too much adjusting was required. A skimmer price at $1000 should be effortless. Now it might be a little premature, but its been over a week and I really like this SWC extreme 180.

Funny same route with a brief stop in between and now just breaking in the SWC 180 cone. They even included another wheel. Comes with black and they include white which is similar to the red devil wheel. Easy to put together. Work horse, and call them anytime they offer fantastic support out of Canada. Very happy so far.

I have the SWC, it's a great skimmer, I keep it at 8" and the internal water about 1-2" above neck ring, air line fully open.
