What salts do you use to maintain your Reef

can someone tell me what ESV stands for?

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think anything. all its called is usually ESV or ESV b-Ionic. on the bottles they say

:tired: Follow the directions. The mixing cups/utensils are included. Not difficult to mix at all. If you're a reefer you've done much more difficult things in this hobby.

I change salt water every Saturday..

1.025/026- ALk seems stay at 8-8.5alk, cal always right at 420-440, mg 1320-1350.

Im curious, if i havent change water for like 2-3 weeks, will it start to decrease number of alk, cal and mg ??

is that what you have being issues with it ?

Yea, the longer in between water changes the less trace elements you will have in your tank as the corals will use those up.

I'm back to using Tropic Marin Pro and I am thinking of switching again. When I test new water, my alk is 7, mg 1100-1200, ca 400, sg 1.025 using ELOS. How come you get higher #'s than me?

i used API test kit , and salifert MG test kit.

Sometime i double test kit (yeah waste but want to be sure its correct)

maybe ELOS - no good ?

Ive been using Seachem Aquavitro Salinity its amazing everything seem to be really popping all my levels are perfect. i don't even need to dose as long as i do my weekly water changes
