I took out the live rock with the eggs and put it in the hatching tank and it worked!!!! Now to keep them alive!!!! I'm trying live Copepods for this batch!!! I couldn't get rotifers in time! Gotta pit the rock bake in DT for pair to put their eggs on it!!!! Holy Clownfish!!! It worked!!!! Soooooo freaking cool!!!!

I do not believe they can eat copepods yet. I believe they need rotifers. ANd in order to keep a culture of rotifers you need phyoplankton. I believe Aqua Hut in Coram gets in live rotifers from the local hs which culturers them. You could check and see if they or another lfs have them. Best of luck- that's exciting!

I will give them a call. Thanks. I ordered the rotis and rotigrow from reef nutrition, the culture setup is ready to go. Unfortunately it's being shipped today. These batch needs food so I'm gonna try the Copepods. This was the clowns third clutch of eggs and my first attempt to get them to hatch. I can get to Fishtown at lunch and home in time to try the Copepods, coram would have to be after work and is along way away. I hope I have time to get there... I have brine shrimp ready to be hatched, but they are too big as well. Any thoughts on bbrine shrimp eggs?

Day 2 - about 30 fry remaining. I put live Copepods in yesterday and some of them ate. I also added rotifeast and more seemed to take to it. I noticed by leaving the light on, most stayed at the top and didn't even look for food. I tried periods without it and they swam around. I am continuing with the rotifeast today and crossing my fingers. Live rotis should be here today!!!! I hope they come in time. I'll split the culture, start half in a bucket and the other half in the tank... I'm also going to do a one gallon water changer later. Brine eggs are ready to go and will start them tomorrow in preparation for Saturday ish.
