I'd definately consider more of a club/support network for reefers than just a forum. We have 2 official swaps a year to buy/sell/trade frags--there are always members on here that are willing to help out- which a lot of the times means actually going to you to help if really needed. A bunch of good folks---welcome.

hey thanks bud!!!

I was curious about the club thing cuz of the fun stuff like meetings and especially frag swaps... along with the social and reef networking... i jus didnt know if things like the frag swaps and stuff were a "paid members only" thing... not that i dont pay to be in clubs, but more so of where to do so, if so... i take it, that is not that case here and its more open to everyone??? and if so, thats very very cool...

MR is more like a community now that most members are within driving distance to meet other. In the forum, members argue and share info.(most information is experienced based-we have a member whose tank is 40 years old and his experience based info is valuable), trade and swap live stock, buy and sell hardware/livestock in the market place. There are 2 swaps each year, content is excellent. You don't have to be a paid member to go in if tickets are still available but you do have to pay to get it. I think it worth the ticket price. Occasional social meet runs by individual member. I mostly come online to kill my time in nudi bar and answer technical questions related to my business.

40 year old tank... you must be talking about Paul :) i know him, well not personally, but we have conversated a few times through pm and thread talk on another site... his tank is an inspiration for sure, and he is a wealth of knowledge... i love his black worm cultivator... he is a very insighful person, as i am sure many here are...

I am been a "member" here for a couple months, but only recently started spending more time here and looking through... so far, its pretty good stuff, and thats cool ;)

Welcome to MR, great community, be it cyber or personal. FYI, we have quite a few members from across the Atlantic and across the vast USA. And many of them come to our swaps via train, plane, car, bus and foot.
