Hi there everyone, I'm new so none of you know this, but I'm an actual doctor. I can prescribe anything and everything. If you need a preceription I'm sure i can help out.

that's great news and a super offer,
lets just make sure everyone kows this offer is for interceptor only ;) hehe.
if you can get pet meds, I'm sure you will earn many frags that way.

ok, I'm new so please slow down a bit. I did not realize that there would be such a rush over this thing. I usually don't like writing presciptions for anyone unless I've at least met them. I plan on coming to the frag swap and I'm bring my presciption pad with me. Is it OK if we wait until then, or is there a desperate need for it now? Also I will be needing the full name of interceptor so I can write it out for the script. Like I said new, so I don't know what it is. Once we meet, Interceptor for everyone!!!!

Doc, this is a link to interceptor,

http://www.1800petmeds.com/heartworm/interceptor.asp?LV=263&PG=Intercept

interceptor is used to kill red bugs which host in acropora and eventually stunt it's growth or kill the coral. If you have red bugs interceptor is a life saver. the problem is getting it, unless you have a large dog, or a friendly vet ;). there is a ton of more info online, if you want I can send you some more links on the research and treatment using it.

OK problem, 1800petmeds.com will not take my precription because I'm an MD, not a VET. They did not ask though, until I asked if it was OK. I'm going to try a few other avenues. We'll see what I can do. Maybe I'll call and not ask if being an MD is a problem. We'll see. I'm also going to try to call the company direct and ask for some "free samples". Like I said I'll keep everyone in the loop.

NYC DVM List

Here is a list of DVMs in NYC.

One of these guys is bound to have heard of interceptor killing red bugs. I can drop each one of them an email explaining our situation. The only thing I need from you guys is a good pic of the red bug on the acro and the procedure you use for the dip. As soon as I get it I will do a Veterinary mass mailing.
I will be the DVM spammer :sgrin:

I called the company and they would not give it to me, so I need a volunteer. I want to try to order it for someone, via phone and not not mention the MD part. Do I have a volunteer? PM me please.
