Dear AMDA member,
I see no difference between that and the letter we sent out. Additionally we went further to back up our claims and reasonings in as clear and explanatory a matter as possible. We didn't include a check box because we were seeking more than a simple yes/no answer. I fail to see how anyone who recieved and read the letter could miss the fact that we were making plans to drastically change the organization and that we were seeking feed back on it. It is not time for an official vote because we are still unclear as to whether or not the changes are viable, and some of the legal issues are up in the air. The letter was simply intended to generate discussion (which it has) and nothing more. So other than the fact that we haven't done it the way you would have, I'm not sure what is left to discuss.
You fail to see the difference? Hey that's great news. We can get rid of all those costly voting booths now and run a new government too. The senate and congress can just send out a few letters and post a couple of manifestos, and tell us how they think the country's gonna be run
What a concept. Brilliant
Oh yeah, if we don't like it, we can write letters back saying "uh, that's not exactly what we wanted"
