Sure there is:

Dear AMDA member,

I see no difference between that and the letter we sent out. Additionally we went further to back up our claims and reasonings in as clear and explanatory a matter as possible. We didn't include a check box because we were seeking more than a simple yes/no answer. I fail to see how anyone who recieved and read the letter could miss the fact that we were making plans to drastically change the organization and that we were seeking feed back on it. It is not time for an official vote because we are still unclear as to whether or not the changes are viable, and some of the legal issues are up in the air. The letter was simply intended to generate discussion (which it has) and nothing more. So other than the fact that we haven't done it the way you would have, I'm not sure what is left to discuss.

You fail to see the difference? Hey that's great news. We can get rid of all those costly voting booths now and run a new government too. The senate and congress can just send out a few letters and post a couple of manifestos, and tell us how they think the country's gonna be run :D

What a concept. Brilliant

Oh yeah, if we don't like it, we can write letters back saying "uh, that's not exactly what we wanted"

As a favor to JT, Mary, and Gresham, let's get back to the topic of transshiping for a moment. I'll start by reiterating (repeating) that I don't like the practice of transhipping marine organisms and that we don't do it here at our store. With that in mind let us take a closer look at the difference between a store transshipping and a wholesaler etailing. The store is not competing with his customers. If the wholesalers know that one of their suppliers is working with a transshipper to go direct to their customers then I would recommend they look for a new supplier who doesn't stab them in the back. People don't like being treated this way. I could tell you a story about clownfish and Petco but I won't. Like I mentioned earlier it is very often the wholesalers themselves who enable this process. Now have them complaining about a game they started.

This legitimizing the etailing/wholesaler is a big mistake. First we had Flying Fish Express. Then Sea Crop. Now we have the infamous kalkmeister (Jeff Koutnik) getting in on the act. Where does it all end people? I hope this thread has opened some eyes and got people to start thinking about these important issues. This issue of fairness to retailers will not go away. AMDA might go, but the fight will live on. What you are going to see is that people like me and Glenn have the three Cs.
Courage, Conviction, and Commitment. Stay tuned.
Mitch
