Its supposed to be 25% but one of the guys rudely told me it was only for the nanoreefer club and since THEY didnt advertise it, they dont give 25 off to everybody that walks in! To me thats bad business, i understand its only a couple of dollars off of what i bought but what makes you think i will ever go back?

Same thing happened to me, I was denied that 25% off, i only got 10% off. One of the guy there was pretty rude too. Don't think I will ever go back.

"MA" (Javier?) even posted pics and stuff on this thread so imo that would make this "official" for MR.
this sounds like a bait and switch.
i'm sure there's a misunderstanding somewhere down the chain of command. somebody dropped the ball here.
i never had any problem with MA. but then again haven't been there in a while. and from the sound of this situation, it doesn't make me want to run there.

btw aloha, that someone just didn't like your tatts.....so no 25% for you....lol.

Very Strange!!!!...The good news is that MA is a great vendor, and I'm sure they will make it right...maybe even a ADDITIONAL 25% off day for MR members, and you won't have to mention MetroRat....errr...cat :catsmiley

Hi everyone, thank you for coming out to shop with me today. I hope you got some goodies in addition to the coffee and donuts, swedish fish and GFY stickers.

Just reading some of your comments and I'm so sorry about some of you not getting the full discount. I was there till most everyone left and I wish you would have spoken to me. MA is very good about everything so I am sure I could have helped sort out the issue. They brought in special orders for people that had a wish list, they made sure they were well stocked for our event today and even had extra staff on hand to help.

I feel terrible that some of you are not happy, but I can vouch for MA, this is not the first shopping spree I have held in their store so there is a mis communication that I will try to sort out. Please PM me.

honestly, i felt like there was no miscommunication. he was very very rude and he knew exactly what i was referring to and yet he failed to look into the situation even after I SHOWED him this exact post.

I think MA should work out the hierarchy about this type of event, in page 3-post #25, MA made it official.

If the guy who told you that, he should really talked to the guy who posted post #25 from MA's MR account and discuss who is in charge of the internet promoting/connecting/networking/policy.
