I taught calcium precipitate out of solution at around 550 don’t quote me. Is your tank snowing? I would look at your test kit, what kind are you using. How old is it. Changing 20% of your water is an excellent idea.

The answer to your question is yes; I have seen the peps in my tank eating baby bristle worms. I purchased about 6 of them from IPSF and put them in the tank about 30 second later they were cut in half and eaten. That is my experience.
