Thanks for the reply Albano! The fish was in the QT for about 3 weeks and looked Great! I put him in the DT and looked fine but would hide in the rocks most of the time. . . My friend came over about to weeks after and pointed out the ich so I realy dont know when?

Update on the tank, I waited and ran the tank empty (10 hermits & a Cleaner shrimp) for about 7 weeks...I thought it was 8! wishfull thinking I guess.... At the same time I set up a 10 gallon QT and got a flame angel and changed my shitty DIY fuge to a BioRocker. Had the flame in the QT for...

Good point ... well I put it there because of the bubbles at the time but since I turned the pump facing the corner maybe I wont get the bubbles in the DT? I know I should have put the 3 baffle setup for that but its done now lol Im going to take off the sponge now see how it go's?

The well sized Sohal tang is the king of the tangs and keeps them all in check and his full grown French Angel keeps the Angels in check .... They all look really healthy don't hate cuz he spends more time looking at his tank then in it lol

Some pics of my friends tank I think it's a 220 gallon ? With a wet dry filter UV, PSkimmer.. ANGELS, TANGS, Els, Starfish, Lions, puffers etc... Running strong for 5 years, Maintenance consists of monthly water change uses TAP & replacing filter pads. He had ich once treated DT with coper safe...

Thanks I'm just trying to get a good understanding of what it takes! people have so many different opinions and feel strongly about them! Its a tuff hobby but at the same time I can just stop to check out a hermit and an hour will pass...

Really nice tank!! How long have you run it and how long have you bin in the hobby? Do you use a QT have you ever had an ICH prob or parasites what would you do?? :help:
