  4. hydrometer

    refractometer is the only way to go, with swing arm they may be accurate at first, but over time calcium or salt buildup on the arm decreases their accuracy.

    uniseals work great, i have two on a new Calcium reactor that is under pressure and i don't even get salt creep, check it out under my DIY secttion on my webpage, Calcium reator II. i would never go back to bulkheads again.

    i have one, But i dont worry about color, although i do see it changing. I just test my water and when my TDS's start to rise i change all three, usually thats about twice a year for me Spring & Fall.

    Over night should be fine No, i just kept on going till it was all finished, then the next day i turned it on it's side and lightly brushed off any loose sand to see if there were any bare spots, is so i added more glue and sand.
