I agree with Greg. No box around it. Take 2 2x4's and turn them on their sides. Set the box on that and you don't have to worry if a little water gets on the ground.

Two years on my kent float and counting. My saftey feature, should I need one, is that I have my RO/DI on a timer, and it only runs long enough to replace evaporated water. Less chance for error, and very little waste water.

There is cured and un-cured. Many times un-cured trans shipped rock can be buyer beware. Other times it can have lucious growth. You get what you get. Cured premium Fiji from Premium Aquatic will be choice cured live rock. You WILL have to cure it for about a week due to the shipping from them...

On my float setup, I use a timer that only allows water into the RO/DI for a set amount of time per day. Therfore the unit only runs a couple hours, and does not click on and off all day. If you do get a leak any where in the system, it will only put a small amount on the ground. HTH P.S. The...
