i tested the water and everthing is fine. the shrooms are open but don't look as good as before.tank is about six months old.what should i look for everything else in the tank looks great.
so confused.pc,vho,mh?what would be the best all arround setup.don't know what corals i want yet don't want to be limited by not having enough light.and any info to find the cheapest lights would be great since i'm tight right now.
one more thing my substrate is argo live right now could i go with a bare bottom to keep algea down or change to sand.could you use play groung sand like a freshwater setup.

I just got some christmas money in the mail and don't know what to buy.I have a 180 gal tank with two tetratec 400's and a wet/dry sumpand 150lbs of lr for filtration.The lfs tells me i don't need a skimmer but i 'm not to sure about that.Or should i get a ro unit.
i went to to the lfs and took some of your suggestions.i got 40lbs of dry rock and got 65lbs of live rock that was in the same tank as the first 50lbs i bought.now my question is do i have to wait for my tank to cycle again to add some critters.what type of cleaners should i add to control hair...
after reading the other books in my library i agree the book sucks,and i plan on doing some skimmer shopping this weekend.as far as adding the rock to the tank. would it be a problem even if the rock is already cured and it is coming from the same tank at my lfs?
i only have 50lbs of live rock in it now with one damsel.iwas planning on getting 100lbs this weekend.do you recomend getting a skimmer first or should i put the rock in first while i have the money for the rock.
