I have noticed lately that my shrooms and light polyps are getting a brown tinge to them anyone have any ideas????

it is a cpr back filter w/ skimmer did it do any damage to keep the biobale in this long???

I am getting dark green algae on my rocks it is not hair algea, it looks like thin green carpet any ideas??? how can i get rid of it

I have had my reef set up for a year when should i remove the biobale

it took a few hours but the tank is clear again

my tank looked totaly clear 15 minutes later it looked like someone poured milk in the water any ideas

is going to hurt my reef. Do I need to do a water change

55 gal 6 mo. old have a few fish, shrimp lots of live rock calcium is low ph is ok lots of calerpa -fan type and 2 other types 2 leather corals , lots of mushrooms and feather dusters - all life appears fine except 1 bunch of feather type calerpa which looks like it it turning white

now that i look at it more closely it is a foggy green color

not at all- they look like that may be baby jelly fish sort of

why keep him in the sump they are great reef crabs i had to ay 6.50 a piece for them they are GREAT

I was watching the tank and all of the sudden critters starting coming out of a rock at least 100 of them they look tiny badmitten birdies and they pulse when they move any ideas?????
