I second that, great guy, great corals... I am local to reefscience and got some pre-cured rock from him but never got any of the Kaelini. If you are in the area it is definitely worth making an appointment to drop by.

It looks to me like it is slowly coming down from an overdose in December. It is so slow since your WCs are only 4% of the system volume... maybe do a few larger waterchanges of 20% or so?

Assuming all this is inwall/hidden, I would mount them all to a 2x4 frame (or square tubular aluminum if you are feeling extra DIY-ish).... and have two pulleys mounted to the ceiling. Place the ballasts on top of the frame if the ceiling mounts can handle the weight.

If you have the air cooling kit, i would put them as close to the water as possible with some hoist-like thing to get them out of the way when you need to get into the tank. Why waste the light you are paying for?

The critters are staring to take effect... they seem to be able to keep the algae from spreading. I hope that if I pluck out the majority of what is left, they can take care of it as well.

That would work great and not take up too much more room on an external overflow box where you could have the bulkhead in the bottom of the overflow box and the loop come up on the the side of it.

My dual 1" overflows can barely handle a GRI520 that puts out in the neighborhood of 1300-1400 gph after head loss. I piped off about 15% of that flow to my fuge so I don't have to worry so much if a snail obstructs a portion of the overflow.

Wade has the eheim auto feeder and it seems to be working well with pellet food. He has it set up to drop food into an acrylic pipe that ends under the water so the food actually sinks and makes it to the fish instead of into the overflow. With that sort of setup you could mount the feeder well...
As long as the rock has been kept submerged in salt water and given some light and circulation/filtration, it will be fine. The rock doesn't know if it is in a 4$ rubbermaid tub or a 5K aquarium. ;) If it has been kept out of water for more than a few hours, you will have dyeoff and will...
hmmm, what about this...
Put an oversized bulkheaded overflow positioned to drain off any excess water above the point where your sump levels off in a power outage. This drains out to the driveway or sewer.
Set a timer on your return pump and your fresh salt water pump. Time the return pump...
