I got it done by Coast to Coast in Toms River, Id recommend them to anyone. In MACNA I saw some tanks made by Reef Savvy. They were also very nice.

If you can get it for a good deal I don't see why not, it will save a lot of work. Prep is everything though. The entire stand should be sandblasted and wiped down thoroughly to remove any oils. They also make a powder coating primer you can bake on te steel before you add the color.

I think powder coating is a little over rated. Its expensive and you cant fix chips that easy. On my last stand I used Rust-Oleum Professional. After it was all welded up I hit the whole thing with a medium wire wheel then wiped it down with Mineral Spirits. Then I brushed on the primer and...
