I usually let my rock soak for a couple of months in tubs, where i change out the water every week. But again, Once you get the ph below 8 they should be good to go.

lols sounds good there I know all about watching the fuge. My wife catches me sitting beside it watching all the creatures in there. But she does like the idea of being able to close the doors too. Especially at nite when we're watching the TV and the lights from the fuge are on.

I have 2 featherdusters with black crowns but they are forming flat sheaves on the rock rather than the round tubes most see. I also have white and very tiny red ones.

if you can stand to have the lamps off the tank for a few hours get some silicone and tack the led's and wires. Leave enough of your wire exposed beyond the tack to allow for bending and adjusting. I currently have 4 3.7w led's on my 55 and am adding another 2 today to help solve the center...
