On the note of tank raised, I've been wondering where the best place to get them is. Maybe I should try the LFS, but premium aquatics looks very professional and I've heard all good things about them. Which option offers the best chance of survival?

Some live rock comes dry with no life. So you mix it with real live rock, which actually has life on it. Eventually the dry rock will become "seeded" with the life from the other rocks.

How much would the fans at radio shack cost? Also, if I got them, how should I orient their flow to provide the best cooling?
