I am also very proud to announce that we have teamed up with ESV!

ESV will be making all of our chemical additives for the ARID system so that we can guarantee purity and accuracy!

-ESV is a separate entity from Pax-Bellum LLC and is not in any way finicnailly backing Pax-Bellum LLC

Industrial (Left) VS PB (Right)

We make reactors for all tank sizes (yes, we are hard at work on a nano version). The Industrial tube you see to the left is 1 of 8 to be installed on a 2200 Gallon System thanks to Fishlife Aquariums

What's the electrical consumption of the LEDs used in both models, how long do they last and are LED replacement bulbs available?

The ARID PB18 consumes 24w plus the power of the pump. Average maxijet 1200 consumes 16w. The led's should last 10's of thousands of hours. Many times longer than a t-5. Life span is temperature dependent so we expect our Enhanced version with the heatpipe assembly to last longer since it is more efficient at extracting heat. We have not been able to run one to the point of blowing out. We'll post PAR reading on the PB18 shortly. We have a thread on the PAR readings and power consumption for our E24 model.

Thanks for the info... So the one that has been beta tested in Pratt for 7 years still the original led bulbs? Just trying to get a sense of how much replacement leds would cost and when the bulbs need to be changed to keep the chaeto growing in optimum conditions.

The original prototype on the Pratt system used T-5 bulbs 39w HO variety. They lasted maybe 6 months before they needed changing.
We will offer a refurbishing service down the road when any leds may start to deteriorate. I'm guessing around 5 years from now we could start to see a few degrading below optimal maybe longer.

Great to see you have a plan to replace the LEDs. By the way, I like the industrial version of the PB reactor which looks like it has a 8" diameter tube.

ARID Enhanced uses a Heat Pipe to to wick heat from the LED array to the heatsink - Here we see the standard operating temperature of an 18" Enhanced Reactor - (the reactor shown was left ON for several hours with no water in the chamber for testing)
