Just got back from a trip to Quintana Roo - and thought i would share some pics with you folks.

The first underwater pic is a stingray... hard to make out, but it was great to see one in person. I saw a great variety of fish, but some were harder to capture than others - if you feel like it... you can give me the scientific names of the fish in the photos (it would be neat to know).

Last year I went to turks and caicos, excellent place for pics right off the beach. like meagheavz my shots came out aweful ( blue ) but memories are there, great pics. looks like you had a memorable vacation.

Thanks! but the woman with the ring is my girlfriends mom :).
My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary in Mexico, and i did get her a ring as a present.... but it wasn't a diamond ;) (yet)

wonderfull pics, thanks for sharing.
I had an awfull experience snorkelling in Mexico... the tour boat that took us to the dive spot left us there and forgot about us :duh:
luckily we werent that far from shore !

Looks like the reef is still in recovery mode. The last hurricane destroyed most of the reef. At least thats what the divers told me when I went two years ago. But from your pictures it looks like its coming back slowely but surely.
