Let's see what different cameras are capable of and if there is a huge difference, like in the prices.. Take a shot of your finger tip and see how close you can get...
My camera just show's my pores on my fingerprint..
Canon powershot SX110is
Flash was used in low light in a forest... Yes this was an accident, with a better light source I could probably get a better shot..
$280 with everything except charger but I use the lithium camera batteries from Energizer...

Never thought of it like that what else can be a common denominator in camera testing... It would take a lot of work to use a finger print from a picture, like ridges on the actual finger prints..

Sashimi wow it does but I hope to never cut my finger that bad..

I don't believe tobin is asking for a high resolution pic, he is asking for a high magnification photo. a high magnification pic can be uploaded without any problems.

Rebel XSi, 60mm macro lense. If you thought you coulda seen the pores on the other photo's....

Sorry about the nasty skin peel thing. Its due to work, and really doesn;t look like anything untill you see it this big.
