Like Deanos but I think for that price it probably would be second hand.I'm almost positive it goes for more(new) with the Tamrom(90mm) abit more expensive than the Sigma.
The Nikon 60mm goes for about 500.I know it doesn't compare to the Nikon 105mm but it did get a good write up if you want to stick to Nikon.
I personally want the 105mm but with the hefty price tag it will be a while.

Nope - I use Nikon 60mm macro. However, I want to replace it with this Tamron:)
I stopped by J&R tonight and checked out the Tamron 90mm.
Tested it and was imperssed. Very little vignetting.
The only thing I didn't like that it doesnt have the VR feature that the newer Nikon lens come with.

last week i broke down and bought the nikon 105mm from JR because every time i put off from buying the price keep jumping a couple hundreds....they got it the cheapest in U.S.

Watch ebay if you aren't in a rush. I got a used Tamron in perfect condition for $325!! Came in original box with all the paper work. Just be careful who you buy from. Took me about a month before I found the deal.
