and i loved using the wand to triple my aptasia, i am sorry the product is a good idea, but after trying to rid a few aptasia i ended up tripling the amount i had, imo much easy to pull rock and treat or inject with kalkwasser same with the majanos

I do not think this is a fair statement. Here are two reasons why I disagree with you.

1st) If you have Aiptasia/Majanos, that means there are more that you have not seen. Therefore, whether you kill the Majano/Aiptasia or do nothing, you are going to see more Majano/Aiptasia.

2nd) I have used the Majano Wand myself to kill individual Majano/Aiptasia as they hitchhike their way into my 34 Gallon Solana Aquarium on Coral (I kill them the 1st day they are introduced into the aquarium). I have killed more the 3 of each, all at very separate times, and have NEVER, not once noticed any new Majano/Aiptasia after I have killed said pest Anemone with the Majano Wand. This is in a 20" cube, where I have excellent visibility from 3 sides through Starfire Glass.

i am far from new to this hobby, nor am i in-conpitant in the use and dealing with aptasia, and i see my tank daily. in trying to get aptasia which are quick to retract you end up singeing off a small piece which floats and starts all over and or releases the spores from them cause alot more. you will not see them triple in a weeks time, it did work on the majanos but for the amount of time it takes to kill one and making sure every part of it died off, it was easier for me to pull the rock and kalk paste it and be done with it or rocks i didnt want to disturb the sandbed on i just injected, and i have used super hot water, lemon juice, liquid calcium and kalkwater all of which have worked well for me. these statements are from my useage of the wand and my experiance with them and i had the wand for a month trying to see how well it worked, ended up giving it back to it's owner and just doing the way that worked for me

I will agree with you in that Aiptasia are very quick to "hide" when they are disturbed in almost any way, which makes killing them very difficult. If you can not get to them with the Majano Wand, you can not kill them. This is true for all methods of removal/killing, unless you plan to dump a large amount of Kalk past (or similar) in the hole/area that the nusiance anemone lives in and hope you kill it, but that is hardly an accurate or safe method of removal.

If, in attempting to kill an anemone, you disturb it repeatedly and fail to kill said anemone, it will release spores and more anemones may appear. This is true for the Majano Wand, but it is also true for most other methods of removal.

The Majano Wand can not magically kill every nuisance Anemone in your home aquarium, it takes time and patience, but the Majano Wand is in our opinion the safest, most effective method so far developed by Humans for dealing with Majano/Aiptasia. The Majano Wand is a tool for reefing, much like a screw driver is a tool. Even though a screw driver can not screw every nail, I still keep one in my Toolbox.
