Just wanted to share with mr a new addition to my tank. Been looking to get one of these for a while now. but finally got this lil guy. Big shout out to Maximum Reef in Mount Vernon for ordering him for me.. i had to posted it here cuz im still have problems with my tank thread.

yes, make sure you have a cover, you will not be the first to think you dont need one and find him dead on the floor. all jawfish are jumpers eventually. great fish. make sure you have lots of substrate for him to make lots of burrows in.

Just acclamating him, he tried to jump ship not once but twice!!! But i made a trip to good old home depot and made myself a pretty decent mesh cover to keep the little bugger from committing suicide

I really love Jawfish, definitely a fish with a load of personality! Congratz on the purchase. Just curious what size netting did you use?
You would be surprised at the tight spaces these guys can fit through! I had one sneak through netting about a year ago (last jawfish I ever bought) while I was away. Found him dried up in the corner of the room. :(
