Need help on deep blue tank

Ok so im looking into getting a rimless tank and came across a Deepblue 30g rimless "frag" tank so with that being said im going to assume that its not reef ready. Now the price that i found this for seems respectable to me $130 am i right or wrong? is there a better deal out there that i dont know about? im not completely sold into buying it just yet because my next question is can i make this tank a RR one cus i really dont want to do HOB. been there done that lol thanks for the help!

I think that all DB Rimless are RR.. My 75 is RR and all the Glass is tempered, so no drilling!!!

ok cool so now my only question is why is it called a frag tank? cus in the picture i see no diffference from the regular 30g reefready one. hmmm i emailed the website cus for $130 is that a good deal or not?

frag tank are short/deep tanks.

Yeah skene saw dimensions 24x24x12 it can still be a reef tho right? A shallow one however. Wonder if its worth it?

Just noticed the guy is a vendor here on MR its saltwater critters who has it for sale.

anything can be a reef. it's all in how you can imagine how you want your reef to look like.

Confirm reef ready or not. Deep Blue tanks come in both configurations.

DB came out with many new sizes recently and pricing is really good.

the $130 one is not reef ready. the $210 one states reef ready.

I emailed Russ and the $130 is not RR so im gonna get the RR one. thanks for the help. cant wait to get back into reefing.

I know awilda lol feels good. I'm excited too. Can't wait. Gonna take a while to get everything up and running. So hopefully by march i can buy livestock and frags.
