Hey guys, just when I was about to give up, I think I finally figured it out. The pump does work, everything was setup correctly, except 1 thing. There was no flow restrictor on the drain tube. I put a ball valve (only thing I had on hand) and my PSI went straight through the roof.

And yes I tested it with and without the pump on. Thanks for the help though!

You mean the one next to the membrane ?? That restrictor??

After the membrane, on the drain tube. I didn't have anything there so there was no pressure build up.

Ok on my membrane I have a feed line and out put line on that output line I have a flow restrictor with a flush kit...that the restrictor your talking about??

As soon as you mentioned the flow restrictor I felt dumb for not thinking about it. You might want to get the one made for you membrane. They are pretty cheap. Only a few bucks. That way you get the proper pure-waste ratio.

Yeah, it's always something stupid. haha.

I have a ball/flow restrictor on it right now so I can easily adjust it. Will probably find something a little more permanent later on

Akma, I know hot water is bad for the RO unit. I turn on the hot water a little bit while the cold water is on full blast to warm up the water a bit.
I've always been under the impression the hot water should never be used...not because of heat, but because it has more 'dissolved' metals/chemicals (?) in the water, from the heating elements.
