My clownfish has ich

My clown fish has ich. i have a 65 gallon fish only but looking to do reef some day. what should i do to help him? i dont have a hospital tank. any advice would be great

Is this a new fish that came down with Ich and are you 100% sure it is Ich and not Brooklynella?

What other fish are in the tank?

How long has the tank been set up?

Are there any other creatures in the tank..snails, shrimp..etc?

hi sorry for answering late i ended up bringing him to the lfs and putting him in one of the hospital tanks

You should still reply to questions Kathy asked so that we can give you a better suggestion how to treat your tank. Your tank may already be infested with ick. Don't let off guard.
