I have 3 Pacific Sun fixtures over my 210, specifically they are the 160w black python fixtures.
What I can say about them...they were worth every penny, nothing I personally don't like about them. I have 1 master so I saw you mentioned the ghl controller which in my case is not necessary nor do I think you need one as long as you have a laptop with Bluetooth (which who doesn't now a days anyways). In terms of lighting and programming they are awesome.
The software you use is very user friendly. You can change the color temperature with a simple slider on the software and adjust the intesity pretty easily with a percentage value. Sunset and sunrise programming works like a charm and it allows you to choose the amount of time it takes up to 180 minutes. The moonlight simulation is also a feature I like to use and works well in terms of intensity by following the lunar calendar and automatically adjusting to the respective intensity for each moonphase. The new software also has lighting and seasons simulation but I'm not into all that.
Lighting wise, I run mine at just 75% and they light up the tank pretty well. Keep in mind, I have many anemones in this tank (which is 29" deep) with 2 carpets on the sandbed and a magnifica and they're all happy.
From personal opinion only, I feel that they are much better built than many other fixtures, super sleek design, huge heat sink, two big fans, 50 LEDs and nicely painted aluminum casing (which is nice for a change since some have plastic housing). IMO and as you said these are like the Ferraris of LEDs.
Hope this review helps and if you have any other questions I'd be glad to answer them to aid you in making your decision.
