Ozone Generators

Is there any of you reefers using or have used it in the past. What was ur experence with it . What is the pros and cons of using 1 of these.

Pro - Clear Water and no algaes ( almost like theres no water in the tank)

Con - It can kill your tank and you.

i used one and then took it off because orp reading in my dt was 400-450 and and i was controlling it with my apex and it basically never came on because reading was good. so i took it off and i use it to purify any meat before i cook to kill all the bad stuff lol and it works good . pro is clear water and it will kill alage and all other good stuff in your water and cons are if your orp levels go high it can kill your live stock easy so be carefull

Im a user. I have it with a controller and my apex for safety.it doesn't come on all that much but I do notice a difference in clarity and health of my fish/coral.cons it can do damage if left unchecked.if used properly it is safe

I have been using Ozone continousely since about 1978 or so, nio problems so far. I never ran my tank without it so I don't know of any cons.
