Measuring cups for coral pro salt

I don't need to me a mod to encourage people to be understanding. Didn't know it was your buddy.

I just thought your questions were valid and helpful and wouldn't want people to feel stupid for asking beginner questions.

Nah man its cool....there's always new questions appearing even if there stupid ones. Reason I asked this question was because I switched from reef crystals to red sea pro. So I wanted to know if I was doing the measuring right. Since the red sea pro salt doesn't come with instructions on how to measure the cup.

I had virtually the same issue... Wasn't getting the desired salinity after mixing per the directions.

What size tank you have and how many gallons you do for water change? How are you measuring your cups by too?

Go to wall-mart and buy a 1cup measuring cup.
fill that cup up with salt level and that =2 gallons.
Then when you mix your salt you count 2,4,6,8 and so on and so on and so on.:banghead:

Didn't even notice that Mike lol but I do have a measuring cup. But what your saying is that 1 cup equals 2 gallons correct?
