New to reefing.

Read all you can,which will drive you crazy because of all the different info out there,read some tank treads and try to find a set up that you like and try to mimic it to how you want it.Im in the beginning of my first tank too,this forum helped a ton,the buy and sell is great I got lots of my equip there but be prepared to spend some money one thing leads into the next and on and on.I have to say its been a learning experience but a lot of fun when you see things come together.

Ok thanks so far guys. Been doing some reading. When I do pull the trigger on a tank, Im going to need some help with plumbing, thats my weak spot.

No worries thats what we are here for. Most of us (at least speaking for myself) have messed up a few times so hopefully with our guidance you will only mess up a couple. Sound fair?
